An exciting position has opened for a motivated UI/ UX designer, doubling as a graphics designer to work with DIGISTEM. The Ideal candidate, working with our outreach partners in Nigeria and research partners at Northumbria University Learning Lab, UK will be responsible for translating requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transforming them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs or user interfaces.
Candidates interested in this position must have an eye for good, clean and artful design, must be able to understand and interpret owners requirements in a way that will be effectively relatable to users interacting with the designs. You must have some experience using some combination of design tools for graphics or UI/ UX designs (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, AdobeXD, inDesign, Figma, Sketch etc.), must also have experience with prototyping user interface designs.
You should have experience of working accurately to deadlines under minimal supervisions and of communicating effectively in a busy and pressured environment. There will be a 2 -month probationary period following an appointment.
